In spring, right where the first rays of sunlight reach the Dhünn valley near Altenberg, in summer under mighty, shady treetops and in winter in the cosy warmth of our rustic guest rooms: the seasonal reasons for an afternoon break in our café are as varied as our range of coffee specialities and various cakes or tarts.
Already in the mood for something hearty in the afternoon? No problem, we have a small menu for the early hunger – and a delicious Kölsch tastes good even at an early hour!

Every day, we serve the well-known original from our homeland by prior reservation: What absolutely belongs on a Bergische coffee table, besides the coffee from the Dröppelmina Hefeblatz, are various black and grey breads, sweet spreads and savoury toppings. Also rice pudding with cinnamon and sugar and freshly baked mountain waffles with hot sour cherries.
